Kathmandu: Today (Shrawan 20) is the last day to apply for the rights offering issued by Asian Life Insurance Company Limited (ALICL), which was opened for issuance and sale on Ashar 25.
The insurance company has issued rights shares at the ratio of 4.2 new shares for every 10 existing shares currently held. Accordingly, the company is offering a total of 1 crore 42 lakh 79 thousand 3 hundred 12.48 rights shares, each with a face value of NPR 100, amounting to a total value of NPR 1 arba 42 crore 79 lakh 31 thousand 242.
For the purpose of this rights offering, the company had closed its books on Jestha 16. Therefore, shareholders who held shares on or before Jestha 14 (i.e., who had traded by that date on NEPSE) are eligible to apply for the rights shares.
